Raquel is the founder, owner and managing director of Viva Therapies, having built up her business single-handedly after starting out as a therapist in her 20s.
Originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil, Raquel decided to leave her close family to follow her heart and make a success in the wider world. So, at the age of 20, with determination, she saved up enough money to buy her flight tickets to London to begin her new life!
With courage, and an infrangible spirit to follow her heart…Raquel moved to London, where she could not speak the language, didn’t know anybody, and only a month of prepaid accommodation so far away from the language school she enrolled in, she could not afford to get there.
Indescribably, overcoming every obstacle, Raquel transcended into the founder, owner, and Managing Director of Viva Therapies.
Because of her exceptional abilities as a massage therapist, she has met and worked with prominent names in the film & music industries, sporting icons including Mohammad Ali and Pele as well as royal families.
Far from a start-up, Raquel built her business the old-fashioned way: with her own money, integrity, fair play, and, most importantly, a desire for perfection and the responsibility to deliver it.
Viva Therapies is more than a company to Raquel, it reflects her strongly held values and commitment to providing exceptional service and enriching experience for all her clients.
Raquel knows everything there is to know about her business and every little detail matters to her, and it is this passion that goes into every step of a customer’s journey with Viva Therapies.
It has been a pleasure working for VIVA Therapies. It's my home away from home. It's a family atmosphere. The people are wonderful. And unless you really know who's who in the company you would never be able to tell the upper management from the rest. I came from a financial background, but different multi-tasking tasks allowed me to understand the operational side of the business.
I love working in this fast-paced organization and would continue to make a difference.
